The Alumni Association of HUHST, founded in May 2014 by the alumni/alumnae of HUHST of their own accord and registered in Department of Civil Affairs of Hunan Province, is a non-profitable united social organization with independent corporate capacity.

The purpose of the association is: to liaise and build friendship with alumni/alumnae, to provide service for and strengthen the cooperation with alumni/alumnae, to publicize alumni/alumnae and their achievement, and to unify alumni/alumnae for the development of the university. The association contributes to strengthening ties between alumni/alumnae and the university, and encouraging them to devote themselves to the revitalization and prosperity of China.
